Come see the greatest sport on dirt at the 2023 Cattlemen Days Rodeo on August 25 & 26! For 50 years, the Cedar Valley Riders and the Ashland Optimist have been bringing PRCA rodeo to Ashland, Missouri. With rodeo performances beginning at 8:00 pm on both nights, there is something for everyone!
See cowboys and cowgirls compete in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding with the finest stock Three Hills Rodeo has to offer, enjoy entertainment from John Harrison! Concessions will be available both nights. For those 21+, the beer tent will be serving up ice cold beer. We are a CASH ONLY event so please plan ahead!
***To prevent risk of injury to spectators (children), cowboys and other arena personnel, please stay off of the fence during the rodeo performance.
ONE warning will be given. There will not be a second warning. Children and parents or any violator will be escorted from the rodeo grounds.
No refunds of tickets will be given. This will be enforced by the Ashland Police Department.***

Looking for tickets? Tickets are $15 at the gate, children (ages 6-11) are $10, children 5 and under are free. We do not offer online ticket purchasing, please visit one of our advance ticket locations or plan to buy your tickets at the gate. Advance tickets can be purchased for $13 at the following locations (August 1-August 20):

The Cattlemen Days Rodeo parade begins Saturday, August 26 at 9:00am at the Ashland Optimist Building.
If you are part of an organization or club, enter a float in the parade! Please be at the Optimist Club by 8:00am on Saturday August 26 for parade line-up. No advance entry required. Cash prizes are awarded for the top 3 parade entries!
PARADE ROUTE: Leaving the Optimist Building, the parade travels south on Henry Clay, west on Broadway, north on Main Street, east on Ash Street and north on Henry Clay (ending at the Optimist Building).

Merchandise is available during both rodeo performances at the tent when you walk through the gates of the rodeo grounds.
Items can be purchased before the rodeo during the month of August at Central Bank of Boone County in Ashland.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: We do not accept cards. If you get to Ashland before you remember this, never fear! There are several ATMs on your way to the arena!
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Obviously we are a big fan of animals, but due to the event's crowd size and the livestock, we prefer your companions stay home.
Q: I'm from out of town, where can I stay?
A: There are no hotels in Ashland, but there are several choices right up the road in Columbia (at Discovery Parkway, the I-70/Hwy 63 interchange).
Q: Can I enter my child in mutton busting?
A: No, we do not offer mutton busting.
